GP Speaker Program

 

The GP Speaker program receives requests from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community groups to address health topics including Depression, Diabetes, Women’s Health and First Aid. 

We also liaised with St George TAFE who offers classes in English language for overseas trained health professionals. Two of our GPs have been involved with showing these health professionals around St George Hospital

 

Community Liason

 

The Division liaises with many services and community groups within the St George area which enables us to work collaboratively for the benefit of the community. We have representation at the following:

  • Chinese Information Day – organised by St George Migrant Resource Centre

  • St George Multicultural Network

  • St George Hospital’s Diversity Health Committee

  • Hurstville and Kogarah Councils Schools Forum

  • St George TAFE Health and Lifestyle Expo
