Cold Chain
is the process of transporting and storing vaccines within the safe
temperaturerange of 2 - 8 degrees from place of manufacture to
point of administration. Managementof the cold chain within your
practice is vital to ensure the effectiveness of the
vaccines.
Important: Vaccines must be stored between 2-8
degrees

and practice staff should be familiar with the
current National Vaccine StorageGuidelines "STRIVE FOR 5"
