Links 2 Better Health is a group program
that teaches parents and young people about healthy lifestyle
choices. It is conducted over a 4 week period and provides
education, resources and support to increase knowledge and skills
addressing physical activity, healthy food choices and behaviour
change.
A Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist

The program aims
to:
1. Encourage parents & children to adopt
a healthy lifestyle, which includes:

Making healthy meal, snack and drinks
choices

Participating in reqular exercise or active
play

Monitoring sedentary behaviour i.e. screen
type activity
2. Promote role modelling and educate
parents on the importance of a family orientated approach to
initiate and sustain lifestyle changes
